4th annual
Riding Mountain Hiking Festival
Fri, Sat, Sun Sept 17 - 19, 2010

This is Manitoba hiking at its best and some of the most beautiful scenery in Canada. Autumn is the ideal time to enjoy this huge wilderness park. The weather is crisp and the fall colours are glorious. Spectacular scenery is guaranteed!
The historic WIGWAM Restaurant - a beautiful heritage building in the centre of town, will serve up our evening meals and cozy CLEAR LAKE LODGE will be ‘festival headquarters’. Day hikes will be a combination of some classic Prairie Pathfinder favourites (like Gorge Creek) and a trek through the beautiful and remote McFayden Valley in the largely unexplored southeast corner of the park.

Registration cost is $169.
The $169. registration includes three group and guided hikes, two evening meals and evening activities (Friday & Saturday). Both evening meals are served up at the historic WIGWAM Restaurant which provides not only fine fresh food but also a visual treat with its outstanding rustic architectural style dating back to the 1920s. Participants are responsible for their own transportation and accommodations.
